China encourages foreign scientific entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Science and Technology has launched very specific guidelines

 

China supports foreign talents with permanent residence certificates for the creation of scientific enterprises, according to the guidelines recently issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the country.

The guidelines, aimed at supporting innovation and the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the field of science and technology, state that foreign entrepreneurs will enjoy the same treatment as their Chinese counterparts.

 

The ability to innovate is their competitiveness, the guidelines stated

 

SMEs in science and technology are important forces in promoting new growth engines and promoting high-quality development. The ability to innovate is their competitiveness, the guidelines stated.

Other favorable policies for SMEs include tax cuts, financial assistance and participation in major national science and technology projects.
