DiDi and Cotinental will explore cooperation in the fields of intelligent and connected vehicles (ICV)
DiDi Chuxing, the Chinese mobile transportation platform, has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Continental, a German transport industry manufacturer. The goal of the partnership is to promote intelligent transport services in China.
According to a DiDi statement, the areas in which the two parties will focus will be those of intelligent and connected vehicles.
According to the agreements, Continental will supply an intelligently connected head unit to be applied to the first generation DiDi custom vehicles.

According to Yang Jun, vice president of DiDi Chuxing “New energy, ride-sharing and intelligent driving are paving the way for the development of the automotive industry and mobility, while travel sharing offers new scenarios to consumers to experience automotive products”.
Furthermore, Continental will provide for the first time the main units connected for a car sharing activity
In April, DiDi started partnerships with 31 automotive operators, including FAW, GAC and BAIC, to bring together resources and strengths in design, business operations and after-sales services across the automotive industry chain .
