Huawei obtains 46 commercial 5G contracts in 30 countries



Huawei has shipped over 100,000 5G base stations around the world


Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., a Chinese telecommunications giant, said it has obtained 46 commercial 5G contracts so far, in 30 countries around the world. Moreover, Huawei has announced that it has sent over 100,000 5G base stations, ranking first in the world.

Huawei has found itself well prepared for the commercial use of the 5G network in China. In February last year, it made the first 5G call in the world and launched the first 5G terminal device.


The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has granted licenses for 5G commercial use to the China Broadcasting Network


Headquartered in the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, Huawei is a leading private telecommunications company and one of the world’s leading smartphone brands.

The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, also given the soundness of the project, has granted licenses for commercial use 5G to the China Broadcasting Network and to the three main telecommunications operators in the country: China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom .
