JD Business is developing customized solutions for companies in the waste disposal sector
Global warming is now a certainty and a challenge for the future and JD Business, a branch of the retail giant that provides corporate procurement services, is developing customized solutions for companies of all sizes to adapt to the sorting program of the waste, recently mandatory in Shanghai starting July 1st.
This new corporate procurement channel allows you to order consumables, including garbage cans and envelopes, as well as personalized services such as labels or tags to facilitate waste sorting.
Those who do not comply with the waste sorting rules can be fined up to 200 RMB
If on the one hand, the problem of waste is a danger, on the other, it is also an opportunity for Chinese technology companies. The waste management program inspired the services that enable consumers to connect with waste sorting facilities, to create fun ways to spread the waste sorting know-how.
Families and businesses across the municipality are working to comply with new policies and companies face higher recycling standards and tougher penalties. People who do not comply with the waste sorting rules can, in fact, be fined up to 200 RMB (about $ 29), while companies must pay fines up to RMB 50,000 (about $ 7,200). Initially launched in Shanghai, the government will expand the recycling system into 46 key cities before 2020.
