Russian owned CPA affiliate network, Admitad, announced ninety percent of cross-border e-commerce in Russia comes from Chinese suppliers at the 2018 E-commerce Conference & Cifnews Partners Dinner. Evgeny Zhukov, Head of Business Development and Sales at Admitad, delivered a keynote address and spoke at an experts roundtable on the future of cross-border e-commerce for international vendors as well as the current state of cross-border in Russia.
Other points to note were the significance of offline to online, or O2O, experience. “Russian consumers are more likely to purchase online if they see a brick and mortar store offline,” Zhukov stated. Additionally, Zhukov highlighted the benefits of the Admitad Affiliate Network, including the CPS or Cost Per Sale basis for advertisers, so that e-commerce suppliers don’t pay unless they successfully make a sale. Admitad has accounts with large brands including eBay, Nike, and Booking.com.
The Admitad global network consists of more than 1,500 advertisers and 650,000 publishers.
