Orchem will establish its headquarters in China in the Changzhou Binjiang Economic Development Zone
Orchem Co. Ltd., one of the leading printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturers in the Republic of Korea (ROK), wants to become an industry leader in China. To do this, the company plans to set up its own headquarters in China in the city of Changzhou, in the eastern province of Jiangsu.
According to news released by local authorities, Orchem intends to invest about $ 50 million and will establish its headquarters in China in the Changzhou Binjiang Economic Development Zone.
The facility, which includes a manufacturing base and a research center, will specialize in high-quality electronic chemicals used in PCB production to satisfy Chinese customers.
Orchem began to be present in China 10 years ago
As Lee Jae-Hyeon, president of Orchem, said, the project is a strategic move to help the company become the industry leader in Asia. In fact, the company started its program in China 10 years ago.
“Changzhou is confident that it will provide one of the most supportive business environments for the best support that aims to expand Orchem in China,” said Ding Chun, mayor of Changzhou.
Orchem, given its success over time, counts among its clients many of the world-famous companies, including Samsung, LG and Foxconn.
