The new television is a 75-inch eight-point quantum quantum diode
This year the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas is dominated by Chinese products. Among the many companies that participated was the Chinese TCL Electronic Holdings, which presented its new 75-inch quantum eight-dot quantum diode television. The telescisor is part of the Chinese company’s new strategy of focusing on the smart home market.
The steps that TLC expects in North America, after the presentation of the 65 and 75-inch 8L QLED televisions, are: constantly increase the average selling price of its line by providing higher quality products and then guarantee a rapid growth in sales of color TV.
The Shenzhen-based company will gradually shift its future focus to the smart home market.
Making this strategy known is Mao Chuwen, general manager of Findlay, based in Ohio, TCL Home Appliances (North America), which was interviewed by Yicai Global.
In fact, North America is proving fertile ground for TCL Electronics Holdings overseas business. Its televisions currently cross over 95 percent of the sales channels in the North American market.
If you consider Walmart, Best Buy, Costco Wholesale, Target, Sam’s West (aka Sam’s Club) and Amazon.Com, you can see that these channels claim 80% of the color TV sales volume on the continent . As for Europe, instead, compared to the new 8K QLED televisions, the company inaugurated last year in Germany the international consumer electronics exhibition Funkausstellung in Berlin, the new articles – TV QLED 8K – have obtained further updates technicians, with an even higher screen resolution.
TCL is also showcasing electronic toothbrushes, makeup mirrors and other beautification devices
As previously mentioned, TLC wants television to be the entertainment center of a family living room and is also working to interconnect TV and other home appliances, Mao told Yicai Global, adding that it will introduce air conditioners, speakers, earphones and other audio products in North America in the next phase, thus gradually evolving TCL smart TVs into the smart home center.
“TCL hopes to become the leading smart technology company with the vision to provide a smart life to its users, so our product types have further expanded,” said Wang, who hopes that the company’s new offerings will meet the demands of young adult users.
