Vivo develops the 5G with the new NEX 3 smartphone

Vivo, Chinese smartphone maker, is dedicating itself to the development of 5G phones. The experts’ work is aimed at improving and implementing two smartphones that can work with super-fast wireless technology. Production times? Less than a month.

The smartphone market in China needs a breath of fresh air. Shipments have actually fallen by 4% compared to a year ago in the first eight months of 2018 to 240 million units, including 291,000 5G phones, while nine 5G phones were released during this period, according to the Chinese Academy of Technology information and communications.

Despite all this, China is expected to be the largest 5G smartphone market, with phone sales up to 80 million units by 2020, according to a report by market analysis company Strategy Analytics.
